everything you can play on this site is here so you can work out whether it's any use to you. that's all a preview is for, and what you can do with one is what the rest of this page sets out.

downloaded loops

once you've ticked the terms and downloaded it, the clean loop is yours to build with. put it in sessions, chop it, flip it, take it wherever it goes.

they're not royalty free

downloading a loop doesn't transfer any rights and doesn't hand you a licence. it means you can work with it.

if something comes out

if a track built on a GSD loop gets released, exploited commercially, or sent to an artist, let me know before it goes out and we agree a split in writing. that's the whole deal, and it's the reason there's a box to tick before the first download.

what you can't do

loops can't be resold, redistributed, or packed into a sample pack.

what gets recorded

every download is logged: which loop, when, the IP address it came from and the browser that asked for it. that's the record that a loop left here under these terms, and it's kept for nothing else. if you leave an email after a download, it goes on a separate list and it's used for one thing, telling you when new loops drop. ask and it comes off.

beat previews

beats are a different thing. the previews are there to listen to, not to download or use. if you want one, send an enquiry and we'll sort terms.

beats built on samples

some beats are flagged sample on their row. if you take one of those, clearing the sample is your responsibility, not mine. I'll tell you what I know about where it came from, but getting the clearance and paying for it is on you, and it has to be sorted before anything comes out.
